This book is filled with advice on how business leaders can prosper as the economy heats up prior to the downturn, preserve wealth in the coming Great Depression, and profit on the way out of the depression.  The changes are too dramatic between now and the coming Depression to just focus on the downside.  The imbalances and maladjustments have a while to play out and there will be opportunities to be had in the countdown period. Each chapter of the book will conclude with a working list of key trends, what the upside potential is from that trend, and what the threat is stemming from the trend.  Intermediate to longer-term trends have their benefits (to at least some) and their downside (to usually a larger portion of some).  Knowing what to do to capitalize on the trends and knowing what not to do in order to avoid the pitfalls of these trends will be presented in a straightforward manner at the end of each chapter.
