graduate level courses in invasive species management and biological control. Our target audience is the entire biological control community and the restoration/conservation biology community. Our explicit goal is to create a book that both groups will be interested in reading and using to teach from. Major markets will be universities (especially in the United States, China, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the EU, and South Africa). These are the major countries or regions with significant use of (or for the EU, interest in) classical biological control against invasive plants and insects. Scientists at government agencies or laboratories or at non-profit conservation agencies (e.g., The Nature Conservancy), who either do research on invasive species or manage land to reduce damage from invasive species, will be another major market for the book. Examples of courses for which the book would be useful include (1) Biological Control, (2) Invasive Species Biology, (3) Land Management, (4) Ecological Conservation/Restoration, and (5) Forestry Management and Pest Control.
